 Beaujolais Nouveau & Bailey's Bash 2025

Why? Because after 29 years of celebrating this Marketing Holiday- which in the 1800s was a celebration of the Harvest with workers finishing up their season and enjoying young wine - I’m changing it up! Here’s the history - Marketing genius George DuBoeuf hyped up the harvest by inventing a race to see who would be the first to serve the wine as soon as it was released. The wine was chronicled being delivered by car, train, planes and even ELEPHANTS! It became a global event, and in 1985 the release date was set as the 3rd Thursday in November. Well it is loads of fun and an ingenious excuse to party, but let’s be real- sometimes it tastes like strawberries, sometimes tart cherries, and sometimes banana and bubblegum. So this year we’re also celebrating Baileys. We’ll be highlighting their flavors of Salted Caramel and Espresso Cream. This way you can toast the new vintage with the Beaujolais Nouveau and finish your night with a guaranteed truly delicious drink.
